The One Question Every Writer Must Ask Themselves

What question does every author want their reader to ask when they close their book?

It invokes the fundamental nature of the storyteller. This question has existed since man could first articulate with a spoken language, and maybe even a little longer. This question is the most important question a reader can ask, and every writer should know the answer, even if it is to shrug, slip on a pair of sunglasses, and boogy away into the sunset. As a writer, you must learn this question.

Three words.

What happens next?

If you find yourself caught in a writing snag, simply ask yourself this question.

You are the storyteller. So you tell me.
